Astronauts on tethers are outside their ships; those near the "Sox" ship are laughing and clapping. Astronauts outside the "Birds" ship look angry. Inside each ship is an astronaut with binoculars looking toward the earth. An astronaut from the "Birds" craft has a large pair of scissors and is about to sever the air hose of an astronaut from the "Sox" craft.

With mouth open wide, the woman breathes in Uncle Sam's face. Her breath is labeled "Greater offensive capability." The woman wears a necklace of missiles, and her earrings have bombs on them. On a screen, the film being projected shows the words, "Obscene movies shown in privacy of own home okayed by Supreme Court." A booklet on the floor near the child has "Smut okayed, too." The cartoon caption reads, "Dirt around the house."

The gound between them is labeled South Vietnam. The American solder has one leg out of his foxhole and says to the North Vietnamese: "Now you put your foot out, too." The cartoon caption reads, "Foxhole withdrawal."

Illinois and Texas are represented as people at the bottom of the cartoon, and Illinois asks Texas,"Say, you got any horses counted in there?"
