The captions, as a paragraph, read as follows:"I've been kicked out of my office. Classrooms were wrecked, disorder was rampant. Demands were made, and many were met." Amnesty has been called for...I wonder if the militants will grant it?"

A small child wearing one piece pajamas and holding a teddy bear is standing on the surface of the earth looking toward a huge moon in a dark sky. No stars can be seen. An object in the sky near the moon shaped like a rocket is labeled "Orbital bombs." The cartoon caption reads, "Star light, star bright...last star I see tonight?"

cartoon by Richard Wallmeyer; Vice President Spiro T. Agnew is featured on the face of a watch. The crystal of the watch is cracked, and one of the wheels has been knocked loose. With one hand Agnew points with his index finger to the ten space, and with his other hand his index and middle fingers form a "V".

In his other hand is a grape he is about to eat. Behind the elephant is a slim man in a cloak that conceals most of his face. The man says to the elephant, "Beware the ITTs of March."

With a crooked finger she beckons a boy and a girl to come into the house. The long-haired girl wears a fringed poncho and knee high boots. The shaggy-haired boy wears a black shirt and bell-bottoms and carries a picket sign that reads "Peaceful dissent".

Two tables are in the room, one round and one square. The round table is labeled, "The shape of the table." The woman vacuuming says to the other, "I worry about the shape of the participants."
