Strands of smoke from the grill are labeled, "Guste...Mouton...Hardy...Lambert...Bubba Henry...Gillis Long...Fitzmorris...Treen...Governor's race." The smoke labeled "Governor's race" reaches around to the front of the house where Edwards stands. He says, "Hmmm...and I'm still very much here." The cartoon caption reads, "Cooking up a storm."
