From the Ellin (Joseph and Nancy) Freedom Summer Collection; Typewritten letter from Dick [Richard Bernstein] to Joe Ellin, dated July 29, 1964. Discusses time spent in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and commends Joe on his contribution to the civil rights movement. [Bernstein] states that he has arranged for 250 books to be delivered to Hattiesburg for use in the Freedom Schools.
