From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Vic Rintz. A moth with stars on the forewings and stripes on the hindwings has flown very close to the flame of a tall candle and has been singed. The light field radiating from the candle has these words: "Self-indulgence; Extremism; Lawlessness; Fear; Distrust; Hatred; Moral laxity." Runtz's signature cat is in the bottom left, covering its eyes with its paws. The words "After death of Kennedy" are written in the upper left margin of the cartoon. The cartoon caption reads, "Singed, sadder--and wiser?"
