Acrylic on canvas painting in shades of red with a diagonal white design on the upper left of painting, by Thomas Downing. Downing was educated at the Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA earning a BA in 1948, and at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, earning a MFA in 1950.
