Also discusses concerns about the deliberate exclusion of African Americans from Congressional elections, and the laws that prohibit many African Americans in Mississippi from voting. The "fairness resolution" is explained and historical background of discrimination in Mississippi against African Americans is also given. Statements from the Jackson Clarion Ledger and quotes from Mississippi Codes and civil rights organizations are also included.
