From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Jon Kennedy. There are two frames in this cartoon. In the upper frame, labeled "The sixties," a man is frightened as he encounters a two-headed giant labeled "Communist aggression." The giant wears a large hammer and sickle on his suit. One head has a Russian-looking face, the other Chinese. In one hand, he holds a rocket, in the other a club. In the lower frame, labeled "The seventies," the man is startled when he encounters a malicious looking cloud of particles that manifests as a shrouded skeleton labeled "Environmental pollution." The cartoon caption reads, "Every decade has its bugaboo."
