Oral history.; Reverend Kenneth Haynes Sr. was born October 11, 1930, in Amite County, Mississippi. In 1958, he entered the ministry, enrolling in Harper Baptist College where he received a Diploma in Christian Education and a Doctorate of Divinity. Later he earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology and a Master's degree in Theology. He is an alumni of the Christian Training Center in Los Angeles, California, and an alumni of the Family Life Conference and Campus Crusade for Christ International Extension. Since 1962, he has been the pastor of several churches. He has received several awards for his religious and civic activities.
