Description: From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Eldon Pletcher. Jimmy Carter and a man labeled, "Congress" stand looking at a giant baby labeled "Inflation." The baby is reclining with legs crossed and is drinking with an intent or greedy expression from a bottle labeled "Red ink." Carter has a satchel labeled, "Deficit spending," and the other man carries a satchel labeled, "New debt ceilings." The cartoon caption reads, "Bottle baby."
